Tales of the Unexpected
Tales of the Unexpected is Synergy’s free annual playwriting course for ex-prisoners, led by a professional playwright, providing a practical introduction to playwriting designed to help participants bring original stories to life on stage. No previous writing experience is necessary just a passion for telling stories and a commitment to developing yourself as a writer.
The most recent course took place at the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn from March to May 2014.
Extracts from all the plays written during the course were performed by professional actors at a script-in-hand reading to an invited audience.
