Year 10 pupils at Woodbridge PRU saw their scripts come to life in a captivating semi-staged reading by professional actors at the school.
Over the past few months, students have worked with Synergy practitioner and award-winning playwright Michael Bhim to create original scripts that were then brought to life by a team of professional actors, including Alex Austin (World’s End), and Danielle Vitalis (Attack the Block). A Synergy Studio graduate, who has worked on numerous films as associate and actor, worked alongside Michael combining script experience with personal testimony to help students sharpen their writing skills and investigate the theme of crime and its consequences.
The first in a series of projects, generously supported by Children in Need, Synergy is looking forward to returning to Woodbridge later this spring.
