A 15-year-old boy wakes up in a prison cell and can’t remember how he got there.
Blackout is a hard-hitting play about ‘getting bullied, fighting back, trying to make a name for yourself, turning vicious, doing something stupid, losing everything, then finding your way again’
We need your help to raise £6845.50 towards our new production for young people. We plan to tour Blackout by Davey Anderson to schools, Young Offenders Institutions and Pupil Referral Units in early 2018.
The play will be performed by a cast of ex-prisoner and professional actors, who will also run post show workshops and discussions, supporting young people to explore the themes.
Every pound you can donate to the project will be generously matched by Comic Relief, through their new pilot CrowdMatch programme. In order to access the match funding, we need to raise the full £6845.50, so please dig as deep as you can.
