Film and radio

Synergy is developing projects in other artistic forms following previous successful multi-media collaborations with video and sound artists.

Synergy has produced one radio project and a short film, The Rains of Fear. Radio drama is relatively simple and cost-effective to produce in prisons as well as being less daunting for the cast than performing on stage in front of a live audience. Film is a contemporary medium which is hugely popular with prisoners and has evolved out of past collaborations on The Memory of Water and Respect.

These mediums have a longer life than a play and the capacity to reach a broader audience both inside and beyond prison walls.
