Bloodline (2009)
Bloodline follows the central character Razor’s journey from an emotionally unavailable gang member haunted by his violent background to a realisation that the gang cannot substitute for family and that he needs to address the past. The play also examined gang initiations, knife and gun crime, the consequences of actions and the realities of prison life.
The cast and crew comprised of nine ex-prisoners including two female ex-offenders. The production was accompanied by testimonies, post-show discussions and ex-offender led workshops exploring further the themes of the play.
Bloodline toured to audiences of young people in excess of 2,200 to schools, PRUs and YOTs in ten London boroughs
