Tagged to a Number (2007)

Tagged to a Number by Simon Bennett follows the central character’s decline from cocky petty street criminal to suicidal prisoner. Directed by Jim Pope, it focuses on street crime, criminal damage and peer pressure as well as highlighting issues around 'stop and search'.

The cast and crew included seven prisoners from HMP Latchmere House and six ex-offenders. The production was accompanied by a prisoner testimony and post-show discussions.

The production was performed at the Richmond and Hounslow Police Youth Crime Conference and toured to schools in Richmond and Hounslow to audiences of young people in excess of 1,000.
